Jack is excited for his 11th season with JVC. He has been coaching indoor for 15 years working with all ages.
Jack started playing volleyball when he was 11 years old and continues to today. He played outside hitter at Seminole Ridge High School winning regional and district championships throughout his career. Jack earned a collegiate scholarship to play men’s volleyball at Lindenwood University as a starting opposite hitter, but his volleyball career didn’t stop there. After college, Jack traveled to Europe in search of a professional volleyball career. There he played in the Czech Republic’s First League as an outside hitter on Aero Odolena Voda. Once returning back to the US, Jack wanted share his broad expertise of volleyball with younger players and has been doing so at JVC. Jack continues to produce winning teams and developing players. He is also the head of the Girls Volleyball program at Western Pine Middle school.
Jack loves coaching and watching his players grow, teaching them not just the technical parts of the game but also the strategic. He’s a very dedicated coach and helps young athletes become the best players they can be on and off the court. Volleyball has shaped and molded his life for the better and he wants to share this amazing sport with generations.
